NC Junior Beef Round-Up

AUGust 8-10, 2025 | Fletcher, NC

Junior beef cattle show open to juniors from all states who are between 6 and 21 years old as of January 1, 2025. Early entry deadline is August 1, 2025. Late entries are accepted up until the day of the show for an extra fee.

Simmental and Percentage Simmental exhibitors must be current members of the NC Junior Simmental Association. If you have not paid your NCJSA dues for 2025, you can pay them at the show. If you prefer to pay them before hand, click here to complete the online membership form. Contact Brooke at ncsimmental@gmail.com with questions regarding dues.

NC Simmental ANnual Meeting

September 5, 2025 | Union Grove, NC

You are invited to join the NC Simmental Association for their annual meeting on Friday, September 5, 2025. We will recognize juniors for their achievements during the past year as well as host a silent auction for the NC Junior Simmental Association to help fund activities for the coming year. NC Mountain State Fair

September 6-7, 2025 | Fletcher, NC

Junior beef cattle show is open to juniors from all states who are 21 years of age or younger as of January 1, 2025. Entry deadline is August 22, 2025. Breed classes available for both Simmental and percentage Simmental females. Click here for more information.

Carolina Classic Fair

October 9-12, 2025 | Winston-Salem, NC

Open beef cattle show is October 9-10 and open to all exhibitors. Junior beef cattle show is October 11-12 and open to juniors from all states who are between 6 and 21 years old as of January 1, 2025. Entry deadline is September 1, 2025. Breed classes available for Simmental. Percentage Simmental females will show in All Other Breeds. Click here for more information.

NC State Fair

October 16-20, 2025 | Raleigh, NC

Open beef cattle show is October 16-17 and open to all exhibitors. Breed classes are available for Simmental and Percentage Simmental bulls, heifers, and cow/calf pairs.

Junior beef cattle show is October 19-20 and open to NC juniors who are 21 years of age or younger as of January 1, 2025. Breed classes available for both Simmental and Percentage Simmental females. There is a bred-and-owned division for each show as well as “Got to be NC” divisions. **NEW THIS YEAR - Heifers should be registered in the exhibitor's name or immediate family name residing in NC.

2025 Scholarship Application

The North Carolina Simmental Association is proud to offer a scholarship to a student planning to pursue a career in an agricultural-related field of study. The scholarship will be given to a well deserving student who is a resident of North Carolina. Preference will be given but not limited to students actively involved with Simmental cattle.
